Welcome to Transfer file and QR Download (https://qrcodes.download), a service for sending files and sharing them via links and QR codes (the "Service"). The Service is operated by ... ("we", "us").
By uploading files, creating links, opening a download link, registering an account or buying a paid plan, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Definitions
- Sender: a person who uploads files to the Service, with or without an account.
- Recipient: a person who opens a link or scans a QR code to download files.
- Transfer: one upload of one or more files, with a download link.
- Content: files, file names, titles, messages and any other information you put on the Service.
2. The Service
- The Service lets you send files via links, QR codes or email. Recipients do not need an account to download.
- "No account needed" does not mean untraceable. To run the Service and prevent abuse, the system still records IP addresses and other technical information as described in the Privacy Policy.
- The maximum size per transfer, link lifetime and other features depend on your plan (free or paid) and are shown on the Pricing page.
- The Service is for transferring files, not for long-term storage or backup. When a link expires, its files are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. Always keep your own original copies.
- We may change, suspend or add features to improve the Service, carry out maintenance, or comply with the law.
3. Accounts
- You can register with an email address or sign in with Google or Zalo. The information you provide must be accurate.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for all activity in your account. Tell us immediately if you notice unauthorised use.
- People under 16 may only use the Service with the consent of a parent or guardian.
- Each account is for one person or one organisation. Accounts may not be sold, rented or transferred.
4. Prohibited content
You must not use the Service to store, send or distribute:
- Viruses, malware, spyware, ransomware or any program that harms other people's devices or data.
- Scams or impersonation (fake login pages, fake invoices, pretending to be an organisation or person, etc.).
- Child sexual abuse material in any form; pornographic or obscene content.
- Content that infringes copyright or other intellectual property rights (unauthorised distribution of films, software, books, music, etc.).
- Personal information or data of others collected or shared unlawfully; stolen data.
- Content opposing the State of Vietnam, distorting facts, inciting violence, terrorism or discrimination; state secrets; content about illegal gambling, drugs or weapons.
- Any other content prohibited by Vietnamese law.
You also must not try to bypass plan limits, interfere with the system, scan for vulnerabilities, send large volumes of automated requests or use the Service to send spam.
5. Checks and enforcement
- Automatic virus scanning: uploaded files are scanned automatically by anti-virus software. Scanning is done by machine; our staff do not open your files except in the cases below.
- Abuse reports: every download page has a "Report abuse" button. We review reports and may check the reported content to verify them.
- If we find, or have reason to suspect, prohibited content, we may block the link immediately, delete the content, and suspend or close the account without notice and without refunding the part of the service related to the violation.
- Links may be blocked automatically when malware is detected or when several abuse reports are received. If you are the sender and believe this is a mistake, contact us for a review.
- We cooperate with competent Vietnamese authorities: we block or remove unlawful content within the time required by law when requested, and provide relevant information when lawfully required.
6. Rights in content
- You keep all rights to your content and confirm you have the right to send and share it.
- You allow us to store, technically copy, virus-scan and transmit your content only as needed to provide the Service to you and your recipients.
- You are responsible for the content you send and for who you share the link with. Anyone with the link (and the password, if you set one) can download the files.
- The name, interface, logo and source code of the Service belong to us or our licensors and may not be copied without permission.
7. Paid plans and payment
- Prices, features and duration of each plan are shown on the Pricing page and the checkout page at the time of purchase. Whether prices include tax is stated on the checkout page.
- Payment methods: PayPal and bank transfer (VietQR). We do not store your card number or bank login details; payments are processed by PayPal and the bank.
- A plan is activated once the system confirms payment. If a plan expires and is not renewed, the account returns to the free plan; transfers exceeding the free plan's limits may be deleted after notice to you.
- Refunds: you may request a refund within 7 days of payment if the Service does not work as described due to a fault on our side that we cannot fix. No refund is given when an account is blocked for breaching these Terms, or when you change your mind after using the plan.
- If you need an invoice, please contact us with your invoicing details.
8. Limitation of liability
- The Service is provided "as is". We work to keep it stable and safe but do not guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, or that files will never be lost due to technical failures.
- Virus scanning reduces risk but cannot detect all malware. Recipients should check files before opening them and only download files from people they trust.
- To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of data arising from use of the Service. Our total liability (if any) does not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 3 months before the event.
- These limits do not exclude consumer rights that Vietnamese law does not allow to be excluded.
9. Suspension and termination
- You can stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your account via the Contact page.
- We may suspend or stop providing the Service to you if you breach these Terms, at the request of competent authorities, or if we discontinue the Service (in which case we will give reasonable notice so you can download your files).
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The new version is posted on this page with its effective date; for significant changes we will notify you on the website or by email before they apply. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the new version.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. Disputes will first be resolved by negotiation; failing that, either party may bring the dispute before a competent People's Court in Vietnam.
